Such a beautiful breed but quite stubborn
Some people mistake him for a Danish Spitz or even a Greenland Husky, then I have to tell them. It's a Samoyed, and they get all confused. Not the most known breed here in Denmark. Some lady even thought he was an Alaskan Malamute..
I don't know if you have seen some of the other pictures of the Samoyeds in my gallery. It's all him, except for our mixed breed.
Actually we don't usually get a lot of snow, but the past 3 years has been 'extreme' with harsh cold and the bay partly frozen. The first two years we had snow for 3 months and I can't remember in my 20 years of living that ever happening before. Last year we had it for like 1½ month. People went all crazy, but I love snow, so I'm not complaining
We just got the first snow of the year.. In this area we are usually the last ones to get snow, because we live right by the shore.
The dog is overly excited and he stays outside even though it's -10 C.
it is her favorite breed
she named it Juneau
she one time she let her Samoyed sleep outside in her dog house and her then neighbor thought it was dog abuse for a Samoyed to sleep in winter
Hah, that's like the kids out where I keep my horse thinks it's abuse to make him pull a sleed and stay outside. I had to tell them what he actually was born to do..
